Vicksburg, MS - Audubon Mississippi is offering a rare view of nesting Purple Martins. The martin pair is now incubating six eggs, which are expected to hatch soon. The parents-to-be are among 24 pairs nesting in gourds at the Audubon at Home interpretive garden at our Vicksburg Bird Conservation Office. Native plant sale set for May 17

Holly Springs, MS - Strawberry Plains Audubon Center will host its annual native plant sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 17. The event is held rain or shine on the grounds of the center, at 285 Plains Road near Holly Springs. A large selection of plants native to Mississippi and the region will be for sale. Sign up now for summer ecology camp

Holly Springs, MS - Strawberry Plains Audubon Center will offer two Summer Ecology Camp sessions this year: July 14–18 for students entering grades 2-4 and July 21-25 for students entering grades 5-7. Students will take daily nature hikes, explore natural habitats, participate in guided field experiences, and learn about our native plants and animals.
